Cain has been struggling emotionally after finding out that someone killed his son, Nate Robinson. Furthermore, the police suspected him and later Tracy Robinson of murdering Nate Robinson. Meanwhile, they have both been accusing each other of killing Nate. Tracy is convinced that Cain Dingle has killed her husband, as he had fought with him badly before the day he was about to leave for Shetland. Elsewhere, Cain thinks that Tracy is accusing him of murdering Nate to save herself. He thinks that she murdered Nate Robinson.
Furthermore, Tracy even banned him from attending her husband’s funeral. A few days ago, Belle tried to convince her, but it made the situation worse as she banned the entire Dingle family from attending the funeral. Meanwhile, in the recent episode, when Cain opened up about his grief to Sarah Sugden, she encouraged him to view the upcoming funeral from a different perspective.
Cain’s Path To Redemption Begins With Kyle!
He liked the idea that Dingles could arrange their memorial for Nate Robinson to remember him in their way. Furthermore, when Cain discussed it with Moira Dingle, she suggested he dedicate a corner of their field to Nate. This would allow people to visit it and reflect on Nate’s life. Meanwhile, Kyle arrived at the garage to see Cain. However, Cain was stressed.
Kyle gave him an envelope which had many pictures of Nate. He suggested pinning the pictures at the memorial and also playing his favourite song, one by Steps. Cain was touched by Kyle’s efforts. He even told him that he made many mistakes with Nate Robinson, but won’t repeat them with him. He then hugged Kyle. Cain will always regret his poor relationship with his son, Nate, but he can mend things with Kyle and Isaac. Meanwhile, the soap fans await Nate’s funeral ceremony.
