He quickly realizes he’s upset Lauren and makes an effort to find her later. He apologizes and asks if they can get to know each other better. Still, you can’t help but wonder if Dev’s awkward timing has already damaged Aadi and Lauren’s new connection.
Just in Time for a Goodbye?
All of this is happening as Aadi’s time on the show is coming to an end. Actor Adam Hussain, who has played Aadi for five years, announced in April that he’s leaving Coronation Street. He mentioned that he’s learned a lot during his time on the show and feels ready to try new things.
He also made it clear that it’s not a final goodbye, more of a “see you later.” So, there’s still hope we might see Aadi back in the future. But in the meantime, it makes you wonder what’s next. Will this kiss with Lauren develop into a real love story? Or will it be Aadi’s last fling before he says goodbye to the cobbles?
