Sally’s trying her best to give Mick and Lou’s girls a home, but next week on Coronation Street, it all starts to feel a bit too much. Things get tense when she misreads a situation with Joanie, and what follows is awkward, emotional, and actually pretty sweet.
Sally Tries to Lay Down the Law
Since Mick and Lou ended up behind bars, Sally and Tim have taken in their daughters Joanie and Shanice. Sally promised she’d give the girls a good, safe home but next week, she starts to realise it’s not going to be smooth sailing.
It all kicks off when Sally spots Joanie being what she thinks is aggressive with Shanice. Not wanting any bad behaviour under her roof, Sally steps in and tells Joanie off right away. But it turns out she’s got the wrong end of the stick.
The girls explain they were only pretending to be in prison, like their mum. They’d seen Lou recently and were just play-acting. Sally’s left feeling totally embarrassed once she realises they weren’t actually fighting.
According to a Corrie source, “They were just copying what they’d seen when visiting Lou. It’s not really Sally’s idea of a fun game, but she feels terrible for jumping to conclusions.”
Sally Feels Awful But Tim Steps Up in Coronation Street
After everything settles down, Sally opens up to Brody about what happened. She admits she lost her temper too quickly and regrets how she handled it. She’s really starting to question whether she can handle this whole thing.
Tim, on the other hand, takes a more hands-on approach. He sorts Brody out with a few shifts at Kevin Webster’s garage, hoping it’ll give him a bit of purpose, and maybe even help him feel more settled.
The insider added, “Brody doesn’t show it much, but he’s grateful. Tim’s one of the first proper male figures to offer him support. It’s a big change after how Mick pushed him away and Kit refused to even speak to him.”
Brody might act tough, but deep down, he clearly wants connection. And Tim’s quiet support seems to really mean something. Everyone’s trying their best, but the road ahead won’t be easy. Still, even after her misstep, Sally’s willingness to admit she was wrong says a lot. And with Tim in Brody’s corner, maybe they’re all heading in the right direction.
