In the latest episode, Robert Sugden went to the police station after Owen’s brother Steve disclosed his whereabouts, which is proof that Owen didn’t kill Nate Robinson. He told the police that the dead man had a strong alibi on the day Nate Robinson was killed. Soap fans know that Steve told him that he and his brother were carrying out a criminal job in Hull when the murder took place.
In Friday’s episode, Robert Sugden went to the police station and reported Owen’s whereabouts to the police. However, Robert stepped back from telling the truth as he was a part of an illegal activity. Then, DC Cole warned Robert to stop his detective work. The detective told Robert Sugden that Owen’s brother was going through a lot, as his brother is no more. Furthermore, Owen murdered a person so Steve wouldn’t understand or appreciate him.
John Is Safe Again!
DC Cole added that he had advised Steve to make a formal complaint of harassment against him. He hoped that a warning from him might scare him and he would step back. Later, Steve went to the village and attacked Robert. He told him to back off. Thus, John’s brother promised to step back.
Elsewhere, Ryan Hawley, who plays the character of Robert Sugden in the soap, recently said on the Lorraine show that it is a good year and he was excited for the soap’s storyline. The actor added that he felt great to be a part of it. Furthermore, he wasn’t clear if Robert would expose John. However, the soap actor added that his character, Robert Sugden, would have to face many obstacles in the plot.
