Joe Absolom, who plays the character of Ray in the soap, appeared earlier in the drug deal. When Mack couldn’t sell him the weed, Robert stole and sold it to him. This week, he returned to the soap and ruined the dating plans between Dylan and April. Dylan had to cancel the plan as Ray had been paying him for delivering drugs to the clients. He even tried to hide the stabbing wound from April. Kyle hurt him when he broke into the farm.
Meanwhile, Joe Absolom shared that these storylines had been fun. He even believes Emmerdale to be the friendliest soap. He even added that some Hollyoaks stars appear to be more like football players than actors. The star shared that everyone has given him a warm welcome. He even revealed that during the soap awards, the stars used to say that Emmerdale has the nicest actors. He added that Hollyoaks actors used to flex their jackets while Coronation Street actors had interesting people. Meanwhile, Emmerdale stars were genuine.
Joe Absolom Opens Up On The Drug Plot!
The actor further teased that there will be dark storylines in the coming plot. Marlon Single will be anxious as April will be entangled in the drug plot. He said that Ray is a good character to play. His character believes that the youngsters are easy to manipulate. He didn’t reveal much, but Ray has been dealing with a lot of money. Earlier, the actor revealed that his son, Cass, thinks that he is cool to play the role of a drug dealer. He will let his son follow his dreams. However, Cass doesn’t want to be a soap actor.
His son is desperate to be an actor and hopes to work for Netflix. Joe said that the young generation wants to be in Marvel films. He told Cass not to do it, as acting is tough. But his son is talented, so he even got him an agent. He has been busy with Bugsy. Joe said that his father used to take him to the auditions, and now he takes his son. He added that his son is ready for rejection, but he is waiting for a big TV role. Though Cass wants to be the Stranger Things star, Joe thinks that soaps are still relevant.
