Moving to Deacon, he is feeling pretty down as he prepares to honor Sheila’s memory. In the preview video, he is seen putting together a memorial and gently touching her casket, feeling the weight of saying goodbye.
But Deacon also has trouble getting people to come and pay their respects. He knows Sheila would want Finn there. So he reaches out to him, asking him to attend the memorial.

Steffy Lashes At Finn Over His Decision To Attend The Memorial

She finds it difficult to understand why he’d even think about attending after what Sheila put them through in that alley. But Finn reminds her that Sheila is still his birth mother, and he feels a duty to pay his respects somehow.
