However, with Lewis Barton’s efforts, the pair was back, but he didn’t close his one night with Manpreet, which led to the end of their relationship and Steph’s exit. Meanwhile, Michael Parr, who plays Ross Barton in the soap, opened up at the photoshoot of the Inside Soap Awards. He shared that there is more storyline for Ross with many twists.
The soap star added that it will be fun with a lot of drama and revelations. Ross Barton has been a part of many gripping plots this year, so the actor is up for the Best Comic Performance. Michael said that he came back as a bad boy, but it turns out that his character has a bit of humour, and he loves it.

Michael added that when he meets people in the street and they tell him that his character made them laugh, he feels happy. He enjoys making people smile. Furthermore, the soap fans have also seen a new side of Ross in the past months, including the plot with Lewis Barton.
The actor also praised his co-star Bradley Riches, who plays Lewis. He has been nominated for the Best Newcomer. Michael shared that when he learned that he was getting a brother, he thought that it was Pete, but then he found out about Bradley, who came with grace. The actor said that his co-star is charismatic and he enjoys working with him.
Michael reprised his role after six years. His return to the set was tricky. Though he was nervous about whether he would remember the lines, he settled very easily.
