Life has been moving at full speed for Lucy Fallon, aka, Bethany, from Coronation Street, both on and off screen. Between raising two young children and returning to the cobbles as Bethany Platt, she’s now found herself at another point that’s tied to some of her most personal family memories.

Family Milestones to Soap Storylines

Lucy’s had a busy time recently. Away from the Street, she’s mum to two little ones, Sonny and Nancy, with her partner, footballer Ryan Ledson. Earlier this year, she shared the sweetest photo of newborn Nancy dressed in a “little sister” outfit, calling her their “teeny angel girl.”

The pregnancy announcement was just as heartwarming. She posted a video last year showing her and Ryan reading to Sonny before revealing her baby bump. The clip also showed Sonny looking at scan pictures and Lucy holding a positive pregnancy test.

Sonny arrived in 2023 after a slightly more complicated birth. Lucy has said she was induced at 38 weeks when his growth slowed down and had a ventouse delivery, that’s when a suction cup is used to help during labour. She laughed about being “on gas and air for ages” and making “a lot of noise,” but told Loose Women she was fine afterwards.

By July, she was back on set at Coronation Street after Nancy’s arrival. Bethany’s most recent stint saw her caught in a love triangle with Daisy Midgley and Daniel Osbourne, and earlier she’d been at the centre of a storyline about botched plastic surgery.

Now Lucy’s hit another milestone. She’s moving out of the home where she brought both her children back after they were born. She posted a video on TikTok explaining that everything’s been packed up and put into storage, and they’re just waiting for the new place to be ready. She called the whole thing “stressful and crazy,” and it’s easy to see why.

CS/ Lucy gets sentimental in old home

Leaving wasn’t simple. Lucy said it felt “really weird” to walk out for the last time, knowing they’d never live there again. This was the house filled with first moments, baby cuddles, and family memories. She admitted it was emotional to see all the children’s things taken out of their rooms, and the thought of not coming back made it even harder. Still, she’s taking the memories with her.

Right now, the family’s in that in-between stage, with their things in storage and a new home on the horizon. It’s a big change, but Lucy’s used to juggling plenty. Fans will be watching to see what’s next for Bethany in Weatherfield and how Lucy settles into this next chapter in real life.  Knowing her, she’ll keep sharing the little moments.
