Tracy Barlow uncovers Abi Webster’s affair with Carl
Abi Webster’s temper flared when she spotted Carl Webster flirting with Tracy Barlow at the Chariot Square hotel, dropping his room number into conversation. Carl later told Abi it was a cover story and invited her to meet him there. But the situation became complicated when Carl mistook Tracy for Abi in the shower and turned her away.
After hearing from Carl that he had rejected Tracy, Abi remained unaware that Debbie Webster had encouraged Tracy to try again, and even offered to pay for drinks. When Carl later confessed to Tracy that he loved someone else, she suspected Abi. Her suspicions grew when she spotted Abi in the shop the next day. That evening, Tracy secretly watched as Carl and Abi’s hug turned into a kiss.
Debbie Webster Collapses Unexpectedly
Ronnie Bailey worried that Debbie Webster was overworking herself at the hotel, so he asked Ryan to help out, much to Debbie’s annoyance. The following day, while cleaning the Webster house, Debbie suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed on the floor when Carl emerged from hiding to check on her before slipping away again.
Abi returned to find Debbie on the ground and quickly called an ambulance. At the hospital, Debbie told Ronnie and Carl she had been given the all-clear. Carl masked his guilt over the situation, but as Debbie is still managing life with a dementia diagnosis, the question remains whether she will take things slower.
Coronation Street: Kit Digs Into Becky Swain’s Case
Sarah Platt’s day fell apart when she stepped in to take an Underworld meeting, only for the client, Eli, to realise she was dating Kit Green, the same officer who had recently stopped and searched him. Eli accused Sarah of using Kit to intimidate him, and rumours began to spread.
DI Costello warned Lisa Swain about her ties to Kit, later putting him on desk duty to avoid a formal inquiry. Kit confided in Sarah that he had linked his current case to a historic investigation involving Lisa’s late wife, Becky Swain. Although Costello told him to leave it alone, Kit admitted he was still working on it in secret.
Dee-Dee Bailey Shares Surprise Kiss With Ollie
Dee-Dee Bailey told Alya Nazir she liked new client Ollie but worried about the conflict of interest. Despite agreeing they should remain professional, Ollie leaned in for a kiss, and Dee-Dee kissed him back.
Later, Dee-Dee confided in James Bailey that she intended to take things slow to protect herself from heartbreak. When Ollie later met her while she was with baby Laila, Dee-Dee suggested they go for a drink so she could explain more, and leaves their future up in the air.
Coronation Street: Brody Michaelis Caught In Risky Plan
Carl caught Brody Michaelis about to steal a high-value car at the garage and warned him he’d end up back in a secure unit. He then tempted Brody with what he called an easier way to make money.
Brody’s troubles escalated when Tim and Sally Metcalfe learned of his failed attempt to run away with his sisters. He later had to tell them their mother had been sentenced to four years in prison. Just as the family were told they could remain together, a scream rang out from the garden.
Steve McDonald Gets Caught Out
Steve McDonald tried to smooth things over with Tyrone Dobbs by buying lager, but his peace offering took an odd turn when Cassie Plummer persuaded him to demonstrate his pole dancing moves.
Unfortunately, Tyrone walked in to find them in a compromising position. Now Cassie must decide if she can convince Tyrone to let Steve move back in or if this will be the final straw.
Coronation Street: Aadi Alahan Confirms Departure
After escaping with a police caution, Aadi Alahan told Dev and Asha that he planned to move to India to start fresh with cousin Vikram Desai.
Asha was devastated at the news, but Aadi appeared ready to close this chapter of his life. Whether his farewell will be a happy one remains to be seen.
