John Sugden met Victoria at his mother’s funeral. He was outside the church and introduced himself to Victoria, claiming that he was a Sugden. Victoria was in a state of shock that her father had another child. However, she decided to spend time with John Sugden. The medic cares about her and expresses his love for Harry. Meanwhile, the soap fans believe that he isn’t a Sugden at all. They believe that his real identity is Aidan Moore, while some think that he stole John’s real identity.
In the latest episode, Tracy was surprised when a man walked in. She recognised him as he was the same man who had picked up Nate’s belongings. Earlier, she thought that Nate was alive, as he had sent a man to pick up his belongings. The man took the boxes, but the soap fans saw John setting fire to them.

Meanwhile, Tracy started asking questions to Ben due to Owen’s suicide note. She showed him a picture of Nate and asked him if he recognised him. When DC Cole arrived then Ben told him that Owen told him to do the task. Though Cole was suspicious, this cleared his doubts. Meanwhile, Mack listened to this as he was heading for London next week. Cain found John and Aaron in the street. He told them that the police were certain that Owen killed Nate.
John was relaxed. Thus, earlier he made a phone call to Ben to lie to the police. Then he went to the Butlers farm before his exit. He also agreed to drive Mack to the train station. However, he saw Mack snooping through his things. Mack saw a scrapbook and saw John holding a bow and arrow. He then saw John beside Ben. They were in army clothes with the caption, John and Ben, Brothers in Arms. Thus, Mack has proof that John is hiding something. Thus, the soap fans wonder – Will Mack tell the truth?
