Soap fans know that Mackenzie Boyd learned about John Sugden’s connection with Ben. He found a scrapbook where he saw a picture of the medic and Ben. In the caption, it was mentioned that they are both brothers. Though Mack promised not to disclose the secret, John chased him through the woods. Then the medic attacked him with a rock. He seemed dead, so John kept his body in his van.
In the recent episode, Charity Dingle was anxious about her husband. She thought that Mackenzie was in London after their recent argument. Charity confessed to Chas that she had not received a response from her husband after telling him everything over the phone. Then Chas explained Mack’s view regarding surrogacy. Charity was anxious that Mack didn’t open up to her.
Charity Is Shattered After Mack’s Message!
Then she decided to give her relationship one more try so she left Mack a voicemail. She said she would listen to him. She also asked Aaron to call her back. However, John overheard the conversation. He scolded him for being a part of the family drama. Then the medic cleaned the evidence off his van. He told his partner that he had hit a deer while driving. Though Aaron tried to reassure his husband, John said that he didn’t deserve his sympathy.
Later, he sent Charity a devastating message from Mack’s phone. She was shattered after learning that the text was regarding ending their marriage. The text mentioned that Mack was sorry, but he couldn’t carry the relationship forward.
He told her to respect his decision. It would be best for both of them. In the end, he apologised again. Though Moira told her that Mack might be adamant, Charity believed that Mack was adamant.
