Coronation Street is about to put Brody Michaelis and Dylan Wilson in the thick of drama once again. The lads’ actions draw them deeper into risky territory, and what happens next at the Weatherfield Precinct will spark suspicion, panic, and a turning point in their friendship.
Brody and Dylan’s Risky Behaviour Escalates
Viewers have already seen Brody and Dylan take worrying steps down a dark path by working for Carl Webster. Their car theft scheme has dragged them into increasingly reckless territory, raising serious questions about how long they can keep dodging trouble. The situation edges into chaos when Betsy Swain becomes an eye witness to an alarming event at the Weatherfield Precinct. A shocking collision leaves someone injured.

George Shuttleworth later claims he spotted Dylan driving a stolen vehicle before the accident, but whether that account tells the full story remains uncertain. Both Brody and Dylan know exposure could destroy them, so their determination to keep their criminal activities secret grows. Still, with suspicions circling, it becomes clear that the lads’ grip on control is slipping fast.
Coronation Street: Ryan Mulvey Lifts the Lid on Filming
Speaking about it, Ryan Mulvey, who plays Brody, opened up about shooting the storyline. He admitted it had been exciting to film on location and to drive a luxury car as part of the sequence. Sharing the scenes with Liam McCheyne, who plays Dylan, made the experience even more enjoyable.

Ryan revealed that the boys’ immaturity shines through despite their serious crime. He explained how, while driving a Porsche, they argue like typical teenagers about girls. The actor described how the lads pass George, and possibly Fiz, without any clue of the chaos about to follow.
He explained that although the characters remain uncaught at first, rumours quickly spread that Dylan had been at the wheel. According to Ryan, both boys feel the fear of exposure, though they react in completely different ways. Even though Brody tries to play it cool, convinced they must act normal to avoid suspicion. Dylan, however, reacts in panic, anxious about being found out.

The actor compared their contrasting behaviour to “chalk and cheese,” with Brody brushing things off and Dylan visibly terrified. These differences create cracks in their friendship, as the storyline tests whether either can truly rely on the other when it matters.
