Before Nigel could seek answers, he heard Julie’s screams. The beloved chickens were dead; the foxes killed them. Julie is left heartbroken. She tries to understand what went wrong and how this happened.
Then she remembers Nigel had actually fed the chickens the previous night. But he forgot to lock them in. Julie, however, didn’t react and tried acting normally. She didn’t want Nigel to feel guilty. He gets angry with her, fed up with being treated like a child. Julie then tries to calm him down. She says those chickens were not just pets but family members. They were a symbol of their marriage. However, Nigel doesn’t remember anything. He has forgotten the tough time they had seen.
However, Julie soon reveals a truth about her past. She admits she had an affair years ago. Their marriage was almost over. However, they gave each other another chance. They wanted to work on their marriage. Nigel forgave her in the past, but dementia has erased those memories. Also, he will have to deal with this pain all over again.
EastEnders’ Nigel And Phil Are Out On A Trip
When Nigel saw Julie speaking to someone secretly, he was broken. He feels she is cheating on him. Julie clarifies that the calls were about a job at the local school. But he is not convinced. He now doesn’t want to stay around her. He asks Phil to pack his bag, as he wants to visit the countryside to clear his mind. Julie tells him she isn’t wrong.
However, Nigel has made up his mind. Their relationship is now in trouble. Phil wants to sort things out between them. However, he is scared of hurting Nigel unintentionally. He is torn between them.
Julie now fears that this would end their relationship. She has already lost Nigel once. Now she only wants to stay by his side. Julie will try hard to defend and prove herself. However, Nigel is furious and still deals with his memory loss.
