We have mentioned time and again that Salem is running dangerously slim on Hortons these days. Thankfully, in the upcoming episodes, we will see a former one popping back on-screen. Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that Melissa Reeves is coming back as Jennifer Horton.
Viewers can expect to see her back on screen this fall. Jennifer arrives in town to be part of thanksgiving celebrations, as well as, Doug/ Bill Haye’s memorial episode. For the unversed, Melissa is not the only actress to have portrayed the role. Actress Cady McClain has also portrayed Jennifer.
However, Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that the makers wanted to rope in Melissa for this particular stint. The actress divulged to the media that initially she was hesitant to accept the comeback, since she is a big fan of Cady McClain. But things eventually fell in place, and she accepted the offer.
Cherie Jimenez & Al Calderon Join The Cast
Days of Our Lives comings and goings point that Jennifer’s character is not the only one getting reprised. Chances are Gabi Hernandez-DiMera and Sonny Kiriakis are well on their way back too. But with new faces of course! Perhaps, in form of – Cherie Jimenez & Al Calderon.
The Days of Our Lives -Peacock official Instagram account shared a cute picture of Cherie and Al hugging in a BTS image. “We’re seeing some newcomers in Salem! Meet Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon – Hmmmm, who could they be?!?!” read the caption.
Days of Our Lives comings and goings have been hinting for a very long time that a Gabi recast is underway. Also, Cherie’s look in the picture – the dress and hair- scream Gabi Hernandez. Meanwhile, Al is dressed in a pretty cropped white t-shirt, but his look isn’t giving any hints about his characters.
