Jack made a plan to come out clean. He wished to frame Ravi Gulati for the crime and walk away. However, his plan soon flopped. It happened when Ravi found that the gun was hidden under his bed. He realised it was all Jack’s plan to trap him. The battle was now about revenge more than the shooting.
Ravi also had a plan. He revealed the entire truth to Denise. He informed her that Jack was the one who pulled the trigger. However, Denise was not ready to believe until she saw Jack’s face. It was only after seeing him that she knew he was guilty about it. He then confessed everything to her. He also admitted that he was linked to Zoe’s shooting and had planted the gun to frame Ravi.
Denise was furious and criticised him for hiding the truth, even when she defended him. The argument soon escalated. Jack also accused her of trusting Ravi. Denise was shocked by Jack’s betrayal. Denise struggled to decide who to trust. She wanted to protect Jack, but Ravi’s evidence was convincing. She feared the consequences of Jack’s lies, especially for Zoe and the rest of her family.
Priya saw Ravi arguing with Denise in the street. Seeing he hadn’t changed and was still involved in crime, she felt disappointed and began packing her bags. Priya wanted to walk out with the children. However, manipulator Ravi soon puts all the blame on Jack and convinces her to stay.

Ravi sorted things at home and again was behind Jack. He now wants to expose the truth and also keep himself safe. He soon cornered him and also demanded £100,000 in cash. Jack faced a threat from Ravi: pay up or be blamed for a crime. With no options left, he had to give in.
Ravi’s words could break anybody, and Jack knew it. He could lose his job and family if he didn’t pay, but paying would only make his enemy stronger. Jack was now completely under Ravi’s control. Jack became more secretive, avoiding Denise and even his colleagues at work. Every interaction made him anxious, knowing Ravi was watching his every move.
