Everything has not been going well for Lauren and Peter for weeks. Peter had gone out for drinks with another woman, Demi. He came home with that same mood and seduced Lauren. However, he was not aware that Lauren’s cousin Penny had seen Peter in the cafe with Demi. She then confronted him and asked him to reveal this truth to Laure.
However, before he could do so, Peter received a flirty message on his phone. And it was Lauren who read it. Peter is now worried that he has gone too far. He thought that now Lauren would blast at him. She may also break up with him. However, to everyone’s surprise, Lauren did not even react. She was very calm and did not even cry. She just called it funny and left. Lauren’s behaviour seemed off to Peter, and he got anxious.
On Thursday’s (25 September) episode, Penny confronts Lauren about why she wasn’t furious. However, Lauren said that she trusts Peter. And that she didn’t see the need to overreact. But Penny wasn’t satisfied with Lauren’s justification. So she decided to confront Demi directly. She soon arranged a meeting with Demi and also took Lauren along. However, the three women started bonding in the cafe.
And Peter saw this all. He thought the three of them were mocking him. He got jealous and, without hearing the whole conversation, he left. Peter now starts to question where he really stands with Lauren.

Later, Lauren assured Peter that she didn’t mind if any other women admired him. It won’t change her feelings for him. She even said that this drama only added excitement to her life. However, Peter felt differently. He wanted to prove himself, so he came up with a surprising idea.
He then told Ian and Kathy that he wants to organise a wedding for him and Lauren. He thought his gesture would fix things between them. However, his family were not convinced. They felt he was doing things in a rush and felt maybe Lauren would not be ready for it.
However, Lauren is taken aback by Peter’s sudden decision. She now doubts about their future together. “Lauren does a runner on their big day,” a BBC soap source revealed.
