In the previous episodes, the soap fans learned that Caleb Miligan had to help John Sugden escape the country. The medic blackmailed him to help him flee; otherwise, Ruby’s truth would have been out. But Cain was furious. He got so angry that he packed his bags and left for France to search for the murderer who killed his son, Nate Robinson.
Meanwhile, Moira had been handling everything on her own. She had been handling both the children and the Butler’s farm. In Monday’s episode, Moira was ill with a cold. Matty Barton offered to take her place at a meeting.
Meanwhile, when Kyle asked her when Cain would return, she informed him that she didn’t know. Later, Moira was grateful to Matty for the help. However, she was sad when she learned that she had missed Kyle’s football match.

Though he still has a family who needs he is focusing on his lost son. Furthermore, after John’s words in the woods, he thinks Nate died hating him.
