Kojo’s Painful Realisation
Kojo Asare’s world has come crashing down. He finally sees what Okie Okyere has done to him and his mate, Harry Mitchell. He initially thought that Harry was just low for some time. When he came back to the flat, he saw Harry chained up. He looked weak and could hardly stand.
Kojo’s retreat from Walford lasted a couple of weeks. When he returned from Cardiff, everything had changed. The one he trusted was behind his troubles. Now Kojo knows that Okie had used his flat for his drug operation. And his friend Harry has been trapped in his dirty games.
He is terrified to know that while he was away, Harry had suffered so much. Later, Okie ordered Kojo to help him with the business. Elsewhere, he has no option besides assisting him, as one wrong step could put his and Harry’s lives at risk. Meanwhile, at night, Okie leaves the flat. And Kojo secretly meets Harry. He then promises him that he will find a way out. Harry could barely speak; however, he still had hopes.
Elsewhere, Phil Mitchell returned to Walford. And George goes to meet him. George then learns that the garage boss had not approved Harry’s time off. And now George knows that something is wrong. Meanwhile, Teddy is worried as his son is not answering his calls. And then he tells George about the entire drug operation being run from Kojo Asare’s flat.
Kojo’s Desperate Escape Plan In EastEnders
After hearing the news, George is terrified. All he thinks of is calling the police. However, Teddy Mitchell stopped him as he was scared that even Kojo might be caught as a criminal. Even George realises that it is better not to call the police, as it could make things worse for Kojo and Harry.
Elsewhere, Kojo sees that the key to the flat is near the table. He thinks Okie might have dropped it accidentally. He goes to pick the keys with his shaky hands and only hopes that Okie doesn’t return. Kojo then unlocks the padlock that has kept Harry trapped for weeks.
Elsewhere, Harry tries to stand up, but he is not able to even walk properly. He had become too weak after taking drugs and facing Okie’s torture. However, Harry then asks Kojo to leave alone. But how can Kojo walk out that door, leaving his friend behind? They both are worried as Okie could return any moment, and Harry was not in a position to run away.
