Jason Donovan, who is a popular superstar, is ready to make an appearance in the soap opera later this year. He will make a guest appearance on the show. The actor’s fans are aware that he got popular from his role as Scott Robinson in Neighbours.
He appeared in 456 episodes between 1986 and 1989. Jason Donovan came back for what was thought to be the final episode in 2022. However, this time he won’t be playing his Ramsay Street role.
The actor will make an appearance as himself in the scenes set in The Woolpack. This comes as a huge surprise to his fans, Lydia Dingle and Bob Hope who is the owner of B&B. He dresses up in a golden sparkly suit. The scenes were filmed at Emmerdale’s studios in Leeds City Centre.
Jason Donovan Is Excited!
The scenes will feature Jason Donovan, who will perform one of his classic songs for the villagers. The star said that he is excited about his cameo appearance in the soap. Jason added that filming was great fun. He also praised all the cast and crew, calling them welcoming. He added that singing in the Woolpack is an unforgettable experience.
Meanwhile, the producer, Laura Shaw, also opened up about her excitement for Jason Donovan. She said that she was happy that Jason joined them for the episode. Laura added that not only is Lydia a fan of his, but there was a real buzz on set. She hoped that the soap followers would also enjoy his cameo like the cast and crew.
Elsewhere, ice skating champions Torvill and Dean, Wet frontman Marti Pellow, and Antony Worrall Thompson, who is a celebrity chef, have also appeared in the episodes.
