When Summer Spellman casually mentions that Todd cancelled their plans, Theo supports the story with ease, adding to Todd’s growing sense of unease. But Theo reacts in a disturbing and unpredictable way. Instead of pleading or arguing, he begins to strike his own face repeatedly, injuring himself with alarming force. Todd is left stunned as Theo’s self-harm becomes a twisted attempt to regain control. The act is clearly calculated.
