Kim’s Joy Turns Into Trouble In EastEnders
It all begins when Howie steals a pricey ring that he had picked up during his parcel job. When Patrick sees the ring, he thinks Howie brought it for Kim. However, Howie had not planned anything as such. But Patrick’s assumption pushed him to propose Kim. Elsewhere, Kim is very delighted when Howie proposes to her and asks her to marry him. She immediately plans parties and celebrations to celebrate their love.
Elsewhere, Penny Branning realises that her ring has been stolen. And when Anthony learns about it, he immediately connects it with Howie’s ring. He is sure that Howie has not bought it from any shop visit. And so he decides to confront him. He also puts all the evidence right in front of him. Howie tries to get away, but he knows that Anthony was right. However, things get messier when Howie learns that even Anthony has some secrets he wants to hide from everybody.
He then cross-questioned him and found his behaviour odd. Then they both agree to stay away from each other’s matters. Elsewhere, Kim is preparing for the engagement party, unaware of everything wrong Howie did. Meanwhile, Anthony soon does the unthinkable. When the party began, Anthony didn’t want to protect Howie. And soon the three-year bond of Howie and Kim goes into despair.
Kim Faces The Aftermath Alone
Tameka Empson, who plays Kim, shared that Kim would be more wounded by the lies than the theft itself. Her character took a long time to trust again. And this betrayal would hit her hard. She thought she knew who she was marrying. And now she wonders about all the lies he had been keeping from her. The couple split, and Kim feels the weight of the breakup.
She sits in The Vic and tries to calm herself with drinks. However, in the true sense, she shouldn’t be having it. In an emotional moment, she offers Yolande the car that Howie once brought for her. And Yolande accepts it without hesitation. After a while, when she has recovered her senses, Kim thinks that she has committed a big mistake.
