Well, the Who Says songstress planned this when she was single. In an interview, Selena Gomez talked about mastering the art of being alone. She said Benny Blanco isn’t the only source of her happiness. Gomez could live her life without anyone. When she was single for five years, Gomez made a big decision. She said she wasn’t happy with that particular feeling of being alone.
Selena even tortured herself for two years but eventually accepted it and was fine with being alone. So, she came up with a plan to adopt at 35 if she wouldn’t meet anyone in her life. However, her life has something else planned for her. The People singer finally found ‘the one’ in Benny Blanco.
The couple started dating in 2023, and since then, they have been sharing plenty of PDA-filled snaps on their Instagram profile. While Selena has been vocal about her relationship, Benny, in an interview with Howard Stern this month, shared that he wanted to have kids with Selena Gomez.
Benny said that his next goal on his checklist was to become a parent. He has a ton of nephews, and he loves being around kids. So the radio host asked Blanco whether he had planned to propose to Gomez in the near future.
While Blanco cryptically suggested he had some plans, Gomez hasn’t commented on this statement. In fact, she prefers to keep their relationship private now after expressing a lot about Benny in the past few months. Selena recently shared that people used to say “hurtful things” about the couple.
That was why she didn’t want to spill anything about their relationship. Gomez also said that she knew her fans were behind her success, and she adores them, too, but they often say hurtful things about her life.
