Theo Silverton’s life on Coronation Street is about to get even more chaotic. In the coming scenes, his temper and inner turmoil push him to a breaking point, and now it’s leading to some dramatic consequences.
Trouble That’s Been Building
Theo entered Todd Grimshaw’s life carrying the trauma of cruel conversion therapy. Todd stood by him through one shock after another. Then came Theo’s daughter Millie’s cruel stunt. She faked a pregnancy to lure her father home and falsely claimed Todd forced her into an abortion.
Things worsened when Todd confided in James Bailey. James misread the moment and kissed him, right as Theo walked in. Theo turned that into another power play, and threatened James. Actor Gareth Pierce, who plays Todd, said Todd has seen flashes of Theo’s anger but still wants to guide him toward accepting his sexuality.
Coronation Street: Behaviour Taking a Darker Turn
Theo’s aggression has spilled over to others, including a violent clash with conversion therapist Noah Hedley and even with his own family. Viewers grew more concerned when Theo made Todd sleep on the couch while he took the bed in Todd’s own home. Gareth explained that Todd understands Theo’s internalised homophobia but can’t excuse unhealthy behaviour.
Soon after, Theo was questioned about an incident at the precinct, revealing a history of violence. Returning to the Street, he was furious to see his family’s faces on promotional materials for Noah’s church. He cancelled a lunch with Todd and went straight to the builder’s yard.
In a tense clip, Theo sits alone, flicking an elastic band against his injured wrist as cruel voices taunt him in his head. When he looks in the mirror, disgust floods in. His control snaps, and he destroys the builder’s yard in a violent outburst. Theo’s actions now raise serious questions about his stability and whether Todd can still help him.
