Antony Quits Corrie for Royal British Legion
Antony Cotton has announced an exciting new role. However, it’s totally different from his Corrie character. The actor played Sean Tully for 21 years in the shows. His storylines have revolved around his son, Dylan Wilson and his wife, Violet Wilson. However, now, the star has confirmed his exit through social media.
He posted on his Instagram stories, “It is with huge pride that I have accepted the position to be President of the St James Royal British Legion @royalbritishlegion.” He emphasised his excitement for the changes and challenges the position will bring.
He added, “Working for our Armed Forces is my greatest honour.” Since 2008, Antony has been working with the British military. Back In 2022, he got an MBE from the late Queen for his amazing service to the British Army, its personnel, and veterans.
Additionally, the soap star shared his exciting ‘side hustle.’ He has been renting out a gorgeous three-bedroom place in Scarborough on Airbnb. Recently, he shared a few pictures of the luxury three-bedroom property on social media.
