Barry Keoghan has got his eyes set on Sabrina Carpenter! Recently, Sabrina performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in England, sharing the stage with artists like Coldplay, Vampire Weekend, and Tems. In a fan-taken TikTok clip, the Sue Me singer sings and grooves to her hit “Espresso.” She looks so lively in an orange halter dress and white gogo boots, making jaw drops, including his beau’s. Yep, Barry looks so chirpy while clapping from the sidestage!
A source told The Sun that Keoghan would be attending as part of the VIP guest list. They added, “He plans to cheer her on from the side of the stage. He couldn’t be more proud of her.” The Saltburn star first sparked dating rumors with Carpenter in December 2023. The man has been a bundle of joy and support, cheering for the “Nonsense” singer at many of her performances.
He celebrated Sabrina during her opening set on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Australia earlier this year. The actor even flew across the world to watch her at Coachella in Palm Springs, California. In January, Keoghan and Carpenter folks spotted them together in Los Angeles at Luna Luna, an art-centric theme park. An onlooker said, “It definitely seemed like a date,” while another added that they were “cute” together and “shared a little kiss.”
However, the duo kind of made it official following their debut on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. They amplified the chatter after attending the Met Gala together in May of that year. But how did they meet? Sabrina and Barry crossed each other’s paths at a fashion event shortly after attending an advance screening of Saltburn in NYC.
Furthermore, E! News reported that the pair bumped into each other during Paris Fashion Week at a Givenchy show. What matters the most is not the occasion but the fact that they just instantly hit it off! By the way, Carpenter was romantically linked to singers Joshua Bassett and Shawn Mendes before dating Keoghan. As for Keoghan, he was in a long-term relationship with Alyson Kierans.
The actor also shares a son, Brando, with Kierans. Although they couldn’t make it work, Barry didn’t shy away from praising Alyson. During an interview with GQ in January 2024, Barry called Alyson “an incredible mother” who has “done a great job” with their son.
