It’s been a busy year for Lucy, who made her long-awaited return to the cobbles earlier this year after welcoming her second child in January. Stepping back into Bethany Platt’s shoes was a big moment for fans, especially since the character had been written out at the start of the year to take up her dream job at a London magazine.

Everything’s now in storage while they wait to get the keys to their new place. She admitted the past few days had been “stressful and crazy,” as even the furniture is now tucked away.
But the goodbye was a deeply sentimental one. Lucy confessed how it felt strange to walk away from the house that had been the first home for her children. She shared how seeing their rooms emptied out left her feeling teary, knowing they would never live there again. Still, Lucy managed to find the silver lining.
