Anita’s Diagnosis Shakes The Family In Beyond The Gates

Viewers have been following Anita while she is dealing with the truth of her triple-negative breast cancer. This type is more often seen in Black women. And after it was confirmed, the Dupree family’s life turned upside down. Anita sat with her husband, Vernon and their daughters, Dani and Nicole. She shared everything about her fears and strengths. And now this story will be in focus as the family prepares itself for treatments and testing.

Viewers will see the chemotherapy sessions and the emotional strain of waiting for results. The audience will also see the family facing difficult days, marked by hair loss and constant fatigue. The track will also explain the BRCA gene and how it affects not only the women in a family but also the men. The team want the audience to understand what a diagnosis looks like in real life.
