WinterFest keeps rolling in Beyond the Gates, new people show up, and a few secrets get way too close to the surface. WinterFest Drama Builds Up Before Everything Blows Open
WinterFest keeps the spotlight on Fairmont Crest, especially with Keke Wyatt taking the stage for a special performance that has everyone talking. While all that excitement is going on, Nicole Dupree heads into her holiday party blind date with Dr. Kial Rollins, the same orthopedic surgeon Shanice set her up with last week. Kial shows up on the December 8 episode, and he ends up doing something during their date that Nicole honestly doesn’t see coming.
But things only get messier for Nicole when she finds herself fighting temptation later in the week. And of course, that raises the question fans love to ask: is this about Kial or is Ted Richardson creeping back into her thoughts? Ted, by the way, spends more time bonding with Shanice over food, and the two seem to get even closer than before.
Meanwhile, Hayley Hamilton gets nervous that her plan to poison Bill might come out. She’s already been jittery, but when Bill suddenly collapses in his office, with only Hayley there, she panics hard.
New Faces Arrive As Secrets Start Piling Up in Beyond the Gates
The biggest shift hits on Friday, December 12, when Hayley runs into one of Bill’s new clients, Lynette Wise, played by Dominique Madison. The second Hayley sees her, she looks completely thrown. It immediately sparks the question soap fans love: do these two women know each other, and does Lynette know anything about the life Hayley keeps trying to hide? Over in the Dupree circle, Vernon gets another mysterious phone call that puts him in a great mood, and the obvious question is whether Sharon Winter is behind it.
At the same time, Leslie Thomas decides it’s time to warn Detective Marcel Malone that a scandal is about to break. She doesn’t give every detail yet, but she hints that something big is coming, and she once saw Vernon and Sharon together at Sharon’s hotel. Someone later tries to warn Leslie to be careful, but she may not be ready to listen. And then there’s Laura Peterson, who finally corners Eva Thomas. Laura tells her straight that the trauma she went through is real and that Leslie caused it.
Not every storyline spirals into chaos, though. Jacob and Naomi Hawthorne share a lovely romantic evening this week, giving their fans a sigh of relief.
