Beyond the Gates is bringing back some fan favourites and big guest stars to shake up Fairmont Crest this week. From romantic rivals to family drama, here is a look at the familiar faces returning to the screen. And know which new characters are making an impact.
Who’s Coming To Beyond The Gates
This week, several faces will be returning to the show. Ben Gavin returns as Derek Baldwin. He will continue to keep his complicated link to Ashley. Elsewhere, Ernestine Johnson is also in the ongoing mix. And Shanice Johnson’s character will add more weight to the week’s emotional movement.
Iona Morris Jackson, who played Dr Monica McCormick last week, is set to continue her role. She is no stranger to the role as she already brings a lengthy list of credits to the character. Besides, she is the sister of Phil Morris, who is known by fans of Y&R for the role of Tyrone Jackson.
Even Dominique Madison is out as Lynette Wise. In the meanwhile, Hayley is frantically trying to cope with Lynettes ever, increasing demands. Apart from that, even Greg Vaughan as Dr Kial Rollins gets a few moments. He is all about creating a genuine relationship with Nicole. Jordi Vilasuso returns as Grayson Perez again.
Derek Baldwin Returns This Week
Derek and Ashley have a strained relationship. Their relationship ended when Ashley learnt the truth Derek kept hidden during his recovery. Derek had a concussion and spinal injury. So because it was unable walk. However, soon he began to regain feeling in his legs. However, instead of sharing that progress, he hid it.
Derek did so to stop Ashley from leaving him for Andre. When Ashley learns about it, she returns the engagement ring and tells him she is done. Later, she flirts with Dr Grayson at the hospital. And Derek gets jealous seeing the two. To turn her family against her, he tells her mother, Jan, about her new interest.
At one point, Andre was the biggest problem in their relationship. However, now he has stepped away as he has grown close to Dani Dupree. Now Grayson is the latest interest in Ashley’s life.
