Love was in the air, at least until drama crashed the party. This week in Beyond the Gates, a highly anticipated first date takes a turn, an ambitious sister plays dirty, and emotional landmines explode all over Fairmont Crest.
Andre and Ashley Finally Go on a Date, But It Doesn’t Stay Cute
Remember how a couple of weeks ago when Andre and Ashley decided to go beyond friendship, that slow-burn flirtation had fans hoping for more, and last week, they made it official. Ashley is single now and clearly ready to try love again, while Andre was more than willing to step up.
So this week, we finally get that first date moment. Sounds dreamy. But hold on, because things change quickly. Their night out turns out to be anything but romantic. First, they run into Derek Baldwin, which is awkward. But Dani Dupree she spots Andre and Ashley holding hands at the bar, and she loses it. From what we hear, Dani has a full meltdown. She gets ultra-territorial about Andre, even though their fling wasn’t that serious.
Dani Makes a Scene While Kat Sets a Trap in Beyond the Gates
That hand-holding moment really seems to trigger Dani, and it turns into a full-blown scene. She doesn’t hide her feelings. Ashley may be new to this, but soap fans know that when a character acts out like that in public, it usually doesn’t end well. Dani is still stinging from being dumped, so seeing Andre move on is just too much to handle. Meanwhile, Dani’s week doesn’t get any easier.
Dani has zero patience right now. Her best friend Pamela pitches a wild idea for their modeling agency, something totally out of the box. We’ll have to wait and see if Dani is on board or if she’s ready to blow up again. Across town, Kat is being her usual shady self. She’s supposed to be training Eva at their dad Ted’s office, but instead, she sets her up.
Randy’s Gun, Joey’s Ultimatum, and Martin’s Shocking Discovery
Elsewhere, Randy gives Joey Armstrong some good news, and some very bad news. One problem is solved, but another pops up. Last time we saw Randy, he had a gun pointed at Kenneth. So naturally, we’re all wondering if he actually shot him. That’s still not clear. To make Joey’s week even tougher, Vanessa McBride gives him a full-blown ultimatum.
Now onto Martin Richardson. His life is still a big rollercoaster. Smitty is digging into Detective Malone’s shady behavior and crosses some serious lines. That doesn’t sit well with Police Chief Elon Hawthorne, who reportedly gets fed up. That’s bad news for Smitty, especially since Elon is also Jacob’s dad. That could get complicated fast. We also see Smitty sharing some juicy findings with Jacob. It turns out there’s a link between Malone and Vernon Dupree.
Allison’s Return Shakes Chelsea in Beyond the Gates
Chelsea is facing her own kind of drama. Her ex, Allison, suddenly reappears, talking about regrets and how controlling her husband was. And it gets worse, Chelsea’s current girlfriend, Madison, notices. And she’s not happy. By the end of the week, Madison starts to wonder if this relationship is worth it.
Finally, Nicole Richardson seems to be fed up with Leslie Thomas. Teasers suggest Nicole is at the end of her rope. Leslie loves to stir trouble, and if she crosses paths with Nicole again, things could get ugly. If Nicole snaps, no one will be surprised.
