Chelsea’s tangled love life is starting to wear thin, especially with Allison suddenly back in the picture. Meanwhile, Leslie’s not wasting any time turning a diner fight into an opportunity. And across town in Beyond the Gates, Jacob’s police work is hitting closer to home than expected.
Allison’s Return Causes Trouble for Madison
Tuesday’s episode saw Chelsea’s ex-girlfriend, Allison, storm into the diner with a bloody head and a shaky excuse. She claimed she’d just tripped and fallen, but Chelsea didn’t take any chances and rushed her to the hospital right away.
Madison happened to be the doctor on duty and could tell straight away that the injury didn’t look accidental. She suspected someone had hurt Allison deliberately. Later, Allison pointed the finger at her husband, Craig, saying he was behind it.
When Madison went to check in on her again, she walked in on Chelsea comforting Allison at her bedside. It was an awkward sight, to say the least. Madison kept her cool, but it clearly didn’t sit right with her. Watching your girlfriend tenderly supporting her ex, especially one surrounded by chaos, is bound to sting.
Elsewhere, Leslie had a nasty run-in with Nicole at the diner. After making some pointed remarks about Nicole’s past with Ted, Leslie pushed just a bit too far. Nicole lost her temper and lunged at her. The situation escalated fast, Nicole had her hands around Leslie’s throat before Ted jumped in and separated them.
Madison Draws a Line & Leslie Makes a Move
In Wednesday’s episode, Madison finally takes a stand. She gives Chelsea a firm warning, this thing with Allison can’t keep going on like this. Madison’s patience has run out. Whether it’s about Allison’s drama or how Chelsea’s handling it, Madison’s had enough of playing second to an ex.
Meanwhile, Leslie turns the diner fight into an opportunity. She either fakes or plays up an injury from the altercation, clearly aiming to get something out of it. Whether she’s after Ted’s sympathy or trying to shake some cash out of Nicole, Leslie is back to her usual schemes. She’s done this sort of thing before, taking small drama and spinning it into something bigger for her own gain. And with Ted back in the middle, it’s no surprise she’s going all in.
Jacob’s Investigation Hits Close to Home in Beyond the Gates
Back on the police side of things, Jacob gets assigned a bit of “official” business, but this time, it involves questioning someone in the family. With the investigation around Kenny’s death still unfolding, Jacob starts pulling at threads without knowing the full story.
So far, we know Bill was the one who set things in motion and Detective Malone was the one who pulled the trigger. But Jacob hasn’t been filled in yet. He’s still trying to connect the dots, not realising how close he’s getting to secrets others are desperate to hide.
