Arielle Prepetit Talks About Her First Scene!
Arielle Prepetit reflected on Naomi and Bill’s lawsuit. She said that it was a huge moment in Naomi’s career as she was fighting against her father. Moreover, she took the case to provide justice to the women who were wrongfully tried and had to survive a toxic environment. She appreciated Naomi’s thirst for justice.
Prepetit shared that she loves the character as she always wants to do the right thing. She added that it was against her father that added intensity to the lawsuit. However, all Naomi wanted was to help the women. Prepetit also took to Instagram to share one of her favorite monologues, sharing that she loved the passionate character.
Besides that, the actor revealed that the first scene the soap filmed was Naomi and Bill’s confrontation at an outside remote location. There was no pressure, and she couldn’t believe that they were starting with that. She added that it was easy for her as she had already practiced it for her audition.
Prepetit added that though there were cameras all around, she just focused on her work. She reflected on her relationship with co-stars. She added that she loves working with Durrett, who plays Bill, as they have good chemistry and always challenge each other.
The Actress Admires Tamara Tunie!
Prepetit also opened up about her co-actor, Tamara Tunie, who plays Anita Dupree. She said that she grew up watching her, and when she found out that Tamara would be her grandmother, she was really happy.
They also performed Karaoke recently. Anita also schooled Naomi with a cool rap. She shared that Tunie was prepared for the rap. She performed it with full energy, and they completed it in just two takes.
Beyond The Gates completed 100 episodes. Prepetit shared her excitement for the upcoming episodes. She hinted that they will keep getting better and intense. The actor was also grateful to the fans. She shared that she loves fans’ reactions to the episodes, calling them next level.
