Timon Kyle Durrett shared that his friends and family ask about recasting in similar types of roles. He said that Bill Hamilton is known for repeatedly cheating in the show. In another show called Queen Sugar, he played a similar character, Davis West – a professional football player and a serial cheater.
The actor reflected on whether he is like Bill Hamilton or Davis West in real life. He explained this new role is different as daytime soaps have different kind of audience a bigger platform. He expressed his gratitude for the support people are giving to his character. Durrett shared that he likes people hating Bill Hamilton.

The actor also opened up about Bill and Naomi’s storyline in the soap. He shared that Naomi is brave enough to challenge a powerful man like Bill and has taught his daughter how to stand up for herself. Beyond The Gates star, mentioned Bill has to take Naomi seriously as she is quite confident.
