BTS’ vocalist Jimin has left his fans on their toes after he announced his upcoming solo project. His fans have been waiting for this announcement since Jimin dropped his first solo album, Face. Finally, the wait is over now! On July 16, BIGHIT MUSIC, the label behind one of the most popular K-bands BTS, treated the fans with a teaser of Jimin’s forthcoming solo track, Who.
The captivating teaser was dropped at midnight KST. It features none other than Jimin with a guitarist in an intimate practice studio setting. Wait! There’s more! The preview suggested that it’s just the beginning, and Jimin’s second solo album, Muse, will be intriguing. The teaser exudes a captivating aura as Jimin can be seen walking alone near the sparse building and cars, sporting a grey tee with baggy jeans and a leather jacket.
There’s no denying that the atmosphere looks exceptionally somber yet interesting, teasing that something magnetic has yet to come. The teaser further highlighted some glimpses of building carrying the titles of Jimin’s upcoming tracks, Slow Dance, Bliss, and Closer.
Well, there’s no denying that the teaser has brilliantly put Jimin’s second solo album in the center, leaving fans going gaga over his brilliant move. While the promo clip offers a sad look, Jimin surprised his fans with another post. He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share the same teaser clip.
However, what captured the fans’ attention was Jimin’s caption. He wrote, “WHO IS MY HEART WAITING FOR?” There is no denying fans get it that it’s the hook line of the track, which promises a new beginning as the cinematic approach of the song hints at Jimin’s growth as a solo artist. His second solo album, Muse, will be released on July 19.
While the Lie singer has yet to announce the details of the track, we believe it will hit the global chart with a bang, just like his debut solo album did. Jimin’s smash hits like Serendipity, Filter, and Lie still dominate the charts, making his solo album Face topping the charts in South Korea, the United States, and Japan. Meanwhile, Jimin’s single Like Crazy peaked at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
While Jimin is set to release his second solo album, the singer is ready for a heartwarming reunion with fellow bandmate Jungkook.
