Recently, Carla confided in Ryan that she wanted to propose to Lisa. Therefore, when her engagement ring finally arrived at their new home, No.6, she could hardly contain her excitement. During the conversation, Lisa revealed that her ex-wife Becky had once proposed by slipping a ring into a champagne glass. Hearing this, Debbie quickly laughed and pointed out that such gestures happened at her hotel almost every day. She then remarked that she hoped Lisa’s next proposal would be far more original.
Because of this, Carla panicked once again and frantically signaled to Glenda to cancel the champagne plan. What had seemed like the perfect setup crumbled in seconds. Afterwards, Carla returned home and told Ryan about her failed attempt. Ryan couldn’t stop laughing at her story, but he did reassure her that she would eventually come up with a better plan. Even so, he teased that her first idea had been far too corny.

Now, Carla has found herself back where she started, with the ring still hidden and Lisa completely unaware of what almost happened. Although her first attempt ended in disaster, her determination to propose has not faded.
Consequently, she must now rethink her approach and find a way that feels special and unique. While Ryan might continue to poke fun at her, he also reminded her that she still has time to get it right. Meanwhile, Lisa remains blissfully in the dark, not realising just how close she came to receiving the biggest question of her life.
