The actor Louis Emerick played Mike Thornberry in Coronation Street in 2018. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the soap’s storyline, in which Abi Webster is drawn to Kevin’s handsome brother, Carl. They might end up having an affair.
He wrote Kevin, Abi and The Brother, hinting at the same love triangle seen in soaps. He added that the viewers have seen the same old storyline many times. A story revolving around a couple, a sibling and an affair is quite repetitive. The actor advised the producers to stop portraying this kind of storyline. Louis further added that in all his circle of friends, he has never seen anything like this happening in real life. So, he urged them to come up with a fresh and realistic storyline.
Sally Carman Opens Up About Abi’s Storyline!
Meanwhile, Sally Carman who plays Abi opened up about the current storyline. He explained why Abi is tempted to Carl despite knowing the mess it could create. She shared that the two met each other accidentally and felt an instant connection. Then Carl turned up in her life and it was known that he was Kevin’s brother. It was a tough situation for her because she already had started having feelings for her.
Sally added that Abi was so excited that she experienced an adrenaline rush that she had been craving since long and it changed her.
