She admitted she was having a bit of a “wobble” in her career and reflected on how turning 50 brought about a lot of self-reflection. But even then, she reminded herself: “I’m still working. Claire described joining Corrie at the age of 52 as a “lovely, lovely surprise” and a major turning point in her life. She said she’s always been grateful for the work she’s had. But this role hit differently, it brought a fresh energy and gave her something to fully appreciate in the moment.
