Coronation Street has gone through a lot of programming changes in recent weeks. Every time it happens, it is an absolute horror for ardent fans of the sudser because if an episode gets pulled off its slot, they have to wait longer to find out what happens next. It pinches all the more when the soap is in the middle of a thrilling storyline. Unfortunately, the fans will have to bear the brunt of another rescheduling this week!
Coronations Street Spoilers confirm that the soap will not air on Friday, as it usually does. Instead, ITV will air coverage of the UEFA Women’s Nations League on Friday evening. Corrie viewers will miss out on the episode while England’s Lionesses take on Portugal’s women’s team in the championship. But here’s a little surprise! ITV is actually airing an episode tonight! That is Tuesday at 8 p.m. instead. Then, the wrap up episode for the week will air on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Meanwhile, the only streaming will drop from 7 am on ITVX.
It is a huge relief that we won’t actually have to wait a whole weekend to find out what happens next. After all, it is a rather dramatic week on Corrie Street. The spoilers confirm that Rob Donovan managed to escape from the prison. Unfortunately, his victory was cut short when he was attacked and left for the dead. But the most shocking twist in the storyline is that DS Lisa Swain could actually be the one behind the attack. If this is true then fans are in for a really big shock!
Lisa has always been one to walk a straight line, and doing something like this is very unlike her. But we guess we will have to wait for a fresh episode to find out if Lisa is really guilty or not. So, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more Coronation Street spoilers on that. Meanwhile, share your thoughts about the ongoing storylines in the comments section!
