Lisa George’s (Beth Tinker) last scenes aired on August 30, 2024 (Friday). The character left the cobbles after uncovering corrupt cop Kit Green’s illegal activities. Kit threatened Beth to leave town, or he would destroy her son Craig’s career in the police.
The actress has shared that she is leaving to explore new opportunities and is concerned about her rare eye condition, NAION, a condition she developed after being struck in the eye with a rope. She said, “What happens if I do go blind? I still want to explore as an actress and do lots of other things.”
She explained that her eye condition, NAION, motivated her to seek new experiences and not let potential challenges stop her.
