Kevin Wants Answers As Carl Prepares To Run
People were getting ready for Debbie’s wedding. Abi then found a bag of cash in the car boot. Later, she saw Carl, and he was checking his flight ticket to Germany. And soon she realised that he planned to leave Weatherfield. Moreover, all her suspicions seem true about him.
Elsewhere, Kevin was fed up that Carl followed Tyrone around with his crutches. He thought he was doing it out of guilt, not concern. Then Carl told him there was only so much he would take. And Kevin pushed back, even warning that he could tell everyone what had happened if that was what Carl wanted.
Debbie stepped in. She later walked down the aisle with her brothers. They managed to keep the peace for her ceremony with Ronnie. However, Kevin’s anger wasn’t hidden. And once the couple took vows, he warned Carl that he would confront him when they returned home. However, Abi informed Kevin that he was too late. She said that Carl had a one-way ticket and would be leaving that night.
Kevin was determined to stop Carl from getting away with the hit-and-run on Tyrone. And so he decided to expose everything at the reception. Later during the wedding speeches, Kevin set up a large screen. He then told the guests that someone needed to get what they deserved. Elsewhere, he wanted to show them the footage of the stolen car. And he thought that by doing this, Carl would admit the truth.
Carl Turns The Situation Around In Coronation Street
However, Kevin had no idea that Carl had already adjusted the plan. Carl changed the footage before the clip could play. He put a video of Kevin and Jack dancing. Furthermore, Kevin felt humiliated in front of the guests.
And in the anger, he told everybody that Carl was responsible for Tyrone’s accident. However, now there was no evidence. And so Carl denied those accusations. Moreover, Kevin had nothing to prove his claim, and had to walk out of the wedding.
Later, Abi confronted Carl. She told him she knew what he had been hiding. And they ended up fighting. Moreover, they even ended their relationship. Elsewhere, Debbie meets Carl and tries to understand his involvement in the incident.
