NAUGHTY OR NICE? Coronation Street Cast Spill Who’s Getting Coal This Christmas

Coronation Street always does Christmas a little differently, and this year feels no exception. As the festive season rolls in, the cast has been chatting about who’s behaved themselves, who definitely hasn’t, and which Christmas storylines still live rent-free in their minds. It’s all very Corrie; cheeky, dramatic, and full of opinions that soap fans will love picking apart.

Who Is On The Naughty List This Christmas?

Some Weatherfield residents were never going to make it onto the nice list. A few characters have stayed very true to their troublesome reputations. Vicky Myers didn’t hold back when it came to Lisa, saying she was naughty, always naughty, and for plenty of reasons. Pauline McLynn was just as certain about Maggie, explaining that she firmly belonged on the naughty list and was spending Christmas doing what she does best, upsetting as many people as possible in her own unmistakable way.

CS/Maggie might end up on naughty list

Sally Carman-Duttine joked that Abi had earned a long-term spot on the naughty list, pointing out that she had been there for eight years straight and was nothing if not consistent. Vinta Morgan shared that Ronnie would probably be quite happy to be labelled naughty, even though he could just about sit between both lists if needed. James Cartwright said Theo’s place depended entirely on who you asked. Theo himself would say he deserved the nice list, but James admitted the general British public would almost certainly put him on the naughty one.

Who Has Made It Onto The Nice List?

Thankfully, not everyone in Weatherfield has caused chaos. A few characters have earned some sympathy after tough years, and the cast felt they deserved a bit of festive kindness. Sydney Martin spoke up for Betsy, saying the character had been through a lot of trauma this year and deserved a place on the nice list. She felt Betsy had behaved pretty well considering everything she had dealt with and handled things as best she could.

CS/ Shona on the nice list

Julia Goulding said she hoped Shona would make the nice list this year. She said that Shona hadn’t actually had a bad year overall. While she acknowledged things started off rocky last year, she felt that chapter was firmly closed now. Elle Mulvaney gave a more complicated answer about Amy. She said she probably landed on the nice list, but not without some debate. Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for all the latest Coronation Street updates.
