Theo Silverton’s patience continues to wear thin in Coronation Street, and now his anger has turned toward someone very close to Todd Grimshaw. Not long ago, Theo confronted James Bailey with a pointed warning, making it clear he didn’t want anyone getting too close to Todd. That controlling streak resurfaced when Summer Spellman showed up unexpectedly at Todd’s flat. She explained she had a spare key and thought she’d settle in to do her university reading for the day. What she didn’t realise was that her visit interrupted Todd and Theo’s romantic day off. Theo’s reaction made it clear he saw her presence as more than just inconvenient, he viewed it as a threat.

Later, Todd encouraged Summer to attend Bernie Winter and Dev Alahan’s wedding, even though she wasn’t thrilled about running into Nina Lucas. While the two spoke in the kitchen, Theo hovered nearby, impatiently urging Todd to leave for lunch because he was hungry. His body language and tone revealed growing frustration.
During lunch, Theo tried to steer the day back on track by offering to take Todd out for sushi that evening. But Todd declined the offer, saying he wanted to spend more time with Summer, who he felt wasn’t in the best emotional space.
Theo responded with a sarcastic “Some date,” as Todd gave him a kiss and promised, “I’ll make it up to you,” before rushing back to the office. When Theo returned home, he found Summer still on the sofa, relaxed and clearly comfortable in the flat. She tried to make conversation, asking if he had evening plans. He replied that his “other half was otherwise engaged.”
Summer then suggested the three of them could share pizza and watch television together. But Theo refused, saying he wasn’t a fan of takeaway pizza. When Todd came back carrying the pizzas and a bottle of wine, Theo quickly stood up and walked out.
Theo’s sharp tone, sarcastic remarks, and growing need to push others away from Todd suggest he isn’t handling this relationship in a healthy way. Whether Todd recognises the pattern or continues brushing it off remains to be seen. But viewers are already picking up on Theo’s next potential target, and they’re not liking what they see.
