Charlotte Jordan, who stars as Daisy, has revealed she’s departing Coronation Street after four years.
Discussing her departure, Charlotte explained that while Daisy had established a life for herself in Weatherfield—love, friendship, and a genuine sense of family—the location had given her an equal amount of trauma.
After all that Daisy has endured, from dreadful predicaments to ongoing betrayals, Charlotte explained that it made sense her character would finally choose to leave.
In typical Daisy fashion, her exit won’t be accompanied by a grand, dramatic scene. She’ll instead slip away from Weatherfield in the back of a taxi following a devastating bust-up with Jenny.
