Coronation Street: Daisy Plots Her Escape And Jenny Panics!

Tonight, tension is building across Weatherfield as several lives come to a breaking point on Coronation Street. A carefully planned getaway begins to take shape, a mother begs, and a young lad is singled out. Relationships hang in the balance precariously close to shattering. What starts out as a day of routine soon becomes one of emotional reckoning.

Jenny Begs Daisy to Stay 

Daisy’s bags are nearly packed, and her plans are almost final, but not everyone is ready to let her go. Fresh from the chaos of last night, Jenny is goaded into a state of panic.

She pleads with Daisy not to go, one heartfelt entreaty after another, but Daisy is unmoved. Her heart is set.

In the meantime, Ryan, Daniel, and Kit each look back upon their complicated histories with Daisy. Each recalls what their relationship with her actually was—and what they ended up losing in the process.

CS/ Daniel tries to convince Daisy

As Daisy puts the finishing touches on her plan, Daniel corners her for a heartfelt talk. He opens up completely, hoping honesty might shift her course. But Daisy is no longer the woman who once hesitated, and she’s all ready to leave. 

Gary’s Optimism Clashes with Maria’s Warning

As Daisy approaches her explosive departure, Gary is enthusiastic about making the builder’s yard a success. 

CS/ Maria is not sure about Gary’s idea

He smugly tells Maria everything will be all right—but she doesn’t believe him. 

She tells him straight out it was a mistake to give Mick a job and takes action herself, informing Mick he is no longer welcome.

CS/ Liam is harassed

At the precinct, things take a darker turn when Liam’s phone is stolen. Just when things escalate, Mick steps in—but whether he’s helping or making it worse is up in the air.

Julie Can’t Hide Her Pain in Coronation Street

Meanwhile, Julie has a wheelchair delivered to her by Brian. She masks her discomfort behind a brave exterior.

Eileen assists her into the pub, where she can’t conceal her pain. 

During a subdued exchange with George, Julie confesses that Eileen is becoming restless in their relationship and tells him to try harder. George is clearly shaken by it.

At the same time, Carla does not have time for drama and calls out Betsy for pretending to be hurt. 

Lisa gave the comment a pass, but things got out of hand when Tracy asked for restitution for the loss of her van.

Carla demands that Betsy pay her half. Lisa’s reaction to the escalating pressure could lead to even more repercussions.

Finally, Debbie visits Ronnie with his belongings. She gently insists that he’s done nothing wrong—it’s her.

A heartbroken Ronnie doesn’t fight back. 

Later, Dee-Dee finds him cradling a fussy baby, Laila, and offers to feed the child herself.

She tells Ed she’s more than willing to step in and help until James returns, showing a quiet but firm sense of care and commitment.
