Daniel Brocklebank Shares Adorable Picture With Co-star
Daniel Brocklebank, who plays village vicar Billy Mayhew, posted a picture with his on-screen husband Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) and daughter Summe Spellman (Harriet Bibby). In the Instagram post, Daniel and Harriet are seen hugging Peter with a big smile on their faces.
The soap star captioned the photo, “These guys!! ❤️ It’s a daily pleasure. Genuinely.” This comes amid Paul’s impending exit after six incredible years due to motor neurone disease. Recently, the soap aired a special episode dedicated to Paul. In the episode, Paul discovers he cannot use the stairlift anymore.
So Billy takes him out for one last time. All day long, the couple visited the church where they got married, then went to the Rovers for a drink with friends. Additionally, the MND survivor made a big decision. He told his husband that he no longer wanted to end his life and that he would let nature do its thing.
Elsewhere, when asked about how he unwinds after emotionally intense filming days, Brocklebank explained that his busy schedule is all-consuming. He noted that his time is mostly spent at home preparing for or filming scenes. To manage, he relies on his three small dogs, whom he enjoys walking, as well as his gardening hobby.
He also mentioned that getting away in his camper van on weekends. It helps him reconnect with nature. He added, “But also wine. Wine really helps, haha!” But truly, his social media post reminds us of the vital role of positive connections during challenging shooting times.
