Daniel Osbourne thought Christmas in Coronation Street would be a happy time with Megan, but instead it turned into the start of a total mess. The awkward moments at the Driscoll family dinner have now grown into real anger, with Will Driscoll letting his jealousy take over and going after Daniel in ways that keep getting worse.
Will’s Jealousy Turns Into Violence
Daniel should have been enjoying his first Christmas with Megan, but instead he ended up knocked out in the ginnel. Will attacked him after he saw Daniel and Megan getting close at the Driscoll family Christmas dinner and completely lost control.
Will does not see Megan as just his athletics coach. In his mind, she is his girlfriend. He was already secretly involved with her before the family moved to Weatherfield, and she was the reason he nearly refused to move.
Will’s family think Megan is helping him do well in athletics, not knowing she has been grooming him the whole time. So when Will saw Megan laughing and cuddling with Daniel over Christmas dinner, he felt pushed aside.
He followed Daniel later and attacked him, leaving him unconscious and unaware of who had done it. Maggie then tried to protect her grandson by planting Daniel’s things so it looked like a homeless man had mugged him.
Will Can’t Handle Seeing Daniel With Megan
Will’s jealousy only gets worse after Christmas. Megan and Daniel grow closer, and Will cannot stand it. On Bertie’s birthday, he sees them carrying the cake and presents together like a happy family, and it makes him furious. Later, Will demands to know if Megan stayed over at Daniel’s. He still thinks she belongs to him, even though she is clearly with Daniel now.
Megan keeps telling him Daniel is just a front and that he is the one she cares about, but Will does not believe her. Daniel has noticed that Will has a crush on Megan and has warned him to stay away. But he has no idea how serious it really is. Will then takes things even further. When Daniel goes out the next day, he sees something rude spray-painted on a car. It is meant for him, but it is written on Ken’s car instead.
Megan knows Will did it and confronts him, telling him she is not happy with the way he keeps going after Daniel. Another shock then appears when a pregnancy test is seen in Megan’s bag.
