Debbie Webster has surprised even herself over the past year. The hard-talking businesswoman was a familiar face in Weatherfield because of her aggressive style. Her diagnosis with vascular dementia was the turning point. And now she has had to be less aggressive and slow down her activities.
However, despite that, Debbie didn’t want her illness to define her. And now her decision to marry Ronnie Bailey at Christmas feels real. Moreover, even Ronnie is supportive and steady, giving Debbie the safety she needs. However, Debbie’s family baggage is still there. Her brother Kevin Webster and Carl Webster are in a bitter conflict. And it happened after Abi’s affair with Carl.
