NOT THE CHRISTMAS EVA PLANNED! Driscoll Dinner Goes South In Coronation Street

Eva’s warm and cosy Christmas idea’s goal was to ensure no one feels left out. But in true Coronation Street style, it’s looking like anything but peaceful. Even though it started as a kind invite quickly puts a few people in very close quarters who really shouldn’t be, and by the time Christmas dinner rolls around, the atmosphere is already crackling. Eva has no idea what she’s walked into, but the Driscolls are heading straight for a festive disaster.

Things Were Already Awkward In The Driscoll House

Even before Christmas Day, things felt off for the Driscolls. Will had just turned 16, or so it seemed, and his family barely acknowledged it. Feeling ignored and desperate to prove he wasn’t a kid anymore, Will booked himself a room at the Chariot Square Hotel, clearly thinking this milestone made him fully grown. Of course, being sixteen didn’t suddenly make his choices sensible. Will was still secretly seeing gym coach Megan Walsh, a relationship that’s completely off-limits.

Despite knowing the risks, the two slipped away together, convinced they could keep things quiet. That didn’t last long. Ben worked out where Will had gone and rushed to the hotel, catching Will trying desperately to hide Megan.

Panicking, Will made up a story about having a girlfriend from Hull called Chloe. Ben left with Ollie and Will, while Megan was left behind to make a very uncomfortable exit on her own.

Eva’s Christmas Kindness Complicates Everything in Coronation Street

Back at the Rovers, Ben tried to smooth things over by telling Eva that Will had just been out with his mates, hoping to stop her worrying. But things got awkward all over again when Megan later turned up at the pub.

When Eva found out that Megan was planning to spend Christmas Day alone with what she called a “turkey dinner for one,” she immediately felt bad for her. Without thinking twice, Eva invited Megan and Daniel to join the Driscolls for Christmas dinner at the pub.

What Eva didn’t realise was that this invite put Megan right back in Will’s line of sight. With everyone together on Christmas Day, it suddenly became the worst possible setting for their secret to stay hidden. Christmas Day doesn’t take long to go sideways. Maggie struggles to hide her irritation as Ben and Eva Price exchange gifts and pile on the affection, which clearly rubs her the wrong way.

Things get even more tense when Daniel arrives with Bertie and a present for Megan. Maggie insists they stay for lunch, annoying Will, who’s already on edge. Elsewhere, Adam surprises Alya with a sparkling necklace and casually suggests they move in together, leaving her over the moon. Back at the pub, Eva panics when she realises a letter is missing from her bag. Adam grabs her hand to reassure her, but Ben walks in at just the wrong moment and clocks the whole thing.

As Christmas lunch goes on, Maggie shoots Eva a deadly look, Will bristles at Daniel, and the Secret Santa reveal leaves Ben completely stunned. Before anyone can catch their breath, someone gets thrown out of the pub.

And just when it seems like the day can’t get any worse, Evelyn finds someone left for dead in the ginnel behind the pub. For all the latest twists, shocks, and festive fallout from Coronation Street, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily.
