Steve McDonald’s whole life turned upside down when his wife Tracy fell in love with Tommy on Coronation Street. Soon after, she ended their marriage and moved to Spain to be with her new lover. Left behind, Steve decided to start life afresh with a new love story. He tried his luck with some odd dates and speed dating, but he only made a bigger mess of things.
He met a spark of fate when his work collided with Cassie Plummer, but he upended that too by dumping her and going on a date with an ex. Even though he made a blunder of things, fans unanimously agreed that there were major sparks between Steve and Cassie. Their chemistry during speed dating was obvious.
In fact, the sparks between them are so obvious that even Steve’s ex-wife Tracy could sense it. She even confronted Cassie about it, but the latter denied having feelings for Steve. (But we don’t buy it). Coronation Street spoilers reveal that in the upcoming episodes, Tracy decides to return to Spain to reunite with Tommy.
When Steve and Tracy are alone in the car, on their way to the airport, she tells him that Cassie very visibly has feelings for him. Initially, Steve rejects the idea, but Tracy is persistent. She encourages him to not ignore the obvious. She urges him to give romance another shot and ask Cassie out on a date.

Before getting on the flight, Tracy leaves her ex-husband with a lot of food for thought. We know, Steve also felt a connection with Cassie, but he is afraid of pursuing it because of the mess he created earlier. But will he pay heed to Tracy’s advice and give it another shot with Cassie?
