Coronation Street has taken a dark turn in Megan Walsh’s baby storyline, and the truth is far from what everyone believes. Megan Finally Admits What Really Happened
In Thursday’s episode, the truth about Megan’s baby comes out, but only behind closed doors. She has been telling everyone that she lost the baby after Maggie attacked her, yet that story is completely false.
During a private counselling session, Megan admits that she chose to end the pregnancy. No one else knows this yet. Will and his family still believe her version of events, which makes everything even more painful to watch.
At the same time, Will is struggling to cope. He feels angry about what Megan has accused Maggie of doing, but he keeps his emotions in check. He knows that if he reacts too strongly, it could bring more trouble in the ongoing case.
Maggie Faces Blame While The Lies Grow Bigger
The situation quickly becomes more serious when DS Swain arrives at the Rovers and tells Maggie she needs to come to the police station. Megan has accused her of assault, and the police are taking it seriously.
Maggie strongly denies hurting Megan and even tries to avoid giving a statement, but DS Swain does not let her walk away. Later, Maggie goes straight to Megan’s flat and confronts her, making it clear she does not believe a word of the story.
Megan tries to keep things under control by saying she has already dropped the complaint. Still, she sticks to her main lie and says she lost the baby. She even adds another twist by claiming that Daniel Osbourne was the father.
When Maggie gets home, she shares everything with Ben and Eva. They are left confused and unsure of what to believe. Ben starts to wonder if the baby could have been his grandchild, which only adds to the emotional trauma of the situation.
Megan’s Truth Stays Hidden For Now
Later, Megan opens up more honestly in her counselling session. She explains that she has polycystic ovaries, which makes it harder for her to get pregnant. That is one of the reasons she first thought about keeping the baby.
But in the end, she made a different choice. She admits she had the chance to be a mum but chose to end the pregnancy. She even questions herself, saying she has already let one child go, so why should anyone trust her with another.
It becomes clear that Megan is using Maggie as a way to cover up the truth. Maggie’s recent behaviour has made it easier for Megan to shift the blame and keep her secret safe.
